Why is Ticket to Heaven engaged in Charity?
Ticket to Heaven produces clothes, which creates joy among children. They keep warm and dry, they can move freely, and play and learn. But we also feel a responsibility to support and please other children in the world, who are not as fortunate as ‘our’ Ticket-children. This is the quintessence of our core value ’Strength’, and at the same time it is an activity, which is closely tied to our core business. It simply makes sense to us to support children towards achieving a life of playing and learning.
How does Ticket to Heaven support children?
In 2005 the Kids for Kids Foundation was founded by the owner of Ticket to Heaven, Hans Peter Larsen, the express purpose was to give aid to children. So far 350.000 Euro has been collected. The money is passed on to projects for children through cooperation with humanitarian organisations. In 2011 Kids for Kids have worked with UNICEF and the money has gone to building schools on Madagascar.

Ticket to Heaven contributes to the Kids for Kids Foundation in different ways
- We produce a series of bikes and helmets, and for each sold unit we donate 14 euro to Kids for Kids. In 2011 so far 40.000 Euro has been passed on to the foundation.
- We support Kids for Kids fundraising arrangements economically. In 2011 Ticket to Heaven have donated approximately 10.000 Euro. For an Open Air concert, raising a total of 37.000 Euro for UNICEF.
- Ticket- employees use working hours on Kids for Kids events. In 2011 the total amount of working hours spent corresponded to one full time employee for a whole year.

What other initiatives does Ticket to Heaven have for children?
For many years, Ticket to Heaven have sent clothes to children in need of warm outerwear.
In 2010 and 2011, Ticket to Heaven have supported children in Greenland through the organisation NANU-children. We are sending Ticket- clothes and collected toys to children who need it. In 2010 9 pallets of clothes were send off, and in 2011 we have send 10 pallets with clothes and toys. Ticket to Heaven will continue to support NANU-children in the coming years. In the year 2006 to 2009 lots of warm clothes has been sent to children living in Tjernobyl, in Ukraine. Before that, plenty of clothes have been sent to children in need after earth quake in Pakistan, to children in Rumania, Bolivia and other parts of the world.
Furthermore, Since 2005 Ticket to Heaven have supported two school children through sponsorships at Plan Danmark and Dansk Børnefond.
